Your skin is naturally designed to keep things out. Plasma Hair Treatment with Microneedling

Using your own blood, we spin the blood in a centrifuge to separate plasma from the red blood cells. With our unique microneedling device, we create microchannels that will serve as tiny gateways for the plasma to flow into your scalp. The growth factors from your Plasma Treatment may improve the overall condition of the scalp, may rejuvenate damaged hair follicles, and can stimulate generation of new hair follicles which may help to stimulate new hair growth.

Your platelets are a part of your blood that are responsible for healing of any injury. When these platelets are applied or injected, it releases at least eight essential growth factors and signaling proteins into the scalp. These growth factors are complex proteins that initiate repair of the injury by forming a fibrin stand (mesh) or extra cellular matrix under skin. The growth factors interact with tissue manufacturing cells; such as fibroblasts, endothelial cells, and osteoblasts, and initiate migration of macrophages to carry on the repair of the injury in the area where platelets are activated. Your growth factors also allow for cell division for growth as well as being able to attract additional cells to the repair site. The end result in the case of microneedling or scalp injection of your plasma is activation of dormant hair follicles and better health of existing hair follicles for new hair growth and less hair loss.

What to expect from a Hair Treatment?

Please wash your hair the morning of your treatment. Do not use any hair products, gel, spray, etc (Note: Hair and scalp must be COMPLETELY dry before any Kerelase laser hair treatment). We take special care to make you comfortable throughout the process. We apply a topical anesthetic prior to microneedling and/or injections. The procedure is comfortable and done in about an hour. We will go over all aftercare protocols and design a treatment plan for best results.

Hair Treatment Aftercare

Our results driven procedures requires little to no downtime immediately after. Most clients have mild to moderate redness for about 24 hours. After treatment, no additional topical should be applied for at least 60 minutes. Discomfort is comparable to a mild sunburn and a cool compresses may be used as necessary. You may shampoo and condition your scalp starting the next day after treatment. We will go over your at home regime for best results. A three to six month treatment protocol is recommended with continual maintenance once every three months.
