Is Vi Peel Right for Me?
VI Peel offers excellent results, which are maintained by using a healthy skin care regimen. If you use an optimized home skin care program designed especially for your skin, and avoid prolonged sun exposure, you can expect to achieve optimal, long-lasting results. This custom facial will denature the keratin on the top layers of skin, causing the skin to generate new cells and discard the old ones. VI Peel will have you shedding those top layers off much like a snake sheds its old skin. New, smoother cells come to the surface as old cells peel away, leaving skin looking younger and smoother. Depending on the skin problem, a series of three to six peels is often given at one month intervals for best results. A consultation is required prior to the custom VI Peel.. This medical grade chemical peel can be used for:
- Reversing sun damage and signs of aging
- Treating hyperpigmentation and melasma
- Improving your skin tone and texture
- Clearing acne & reducing acne scars
- Softening fine lines & wrinkles
- Stimulating collagen growth and elastin production.

What Are The Main Active Ingredients in Vi Peel?
- TCA – Trichloroacetic Acid – for effective skin penetration and deep scar healing through collagen stimulation
- Retin-A – an acid derived from Vitamin A which acts to combat wrinkles
- Salicylic Acid – a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) which acts as an exfoliant
- Phenol – used for its antiseptic and anesthetic properties, and also aids in skin penetration
- Vitamin C – also known as ascorbic acid, and has antioxidant and mild exfoliation properties.
Is Vi Peel Suitable for Teenagers?
VI Peel was originally formulated for the founder’s 15 year old daughter who had severe acne. So, the good news is that the peel is excellent for both adults and adolescents, and for the treatment of acne.
What Happens After a Vi Peel?
In the days immediately following the treatment has been completed, you can expect your skin to look slightly tanned to red. Your skin will likely feel slightly tighter, and any previously pigmented areas might appear slightly darker, which is a good sign. By about day number three, you can expect your skin to start its natural peeling process, beginning around the mouth area. After approximately six or seven days, you can expect your peeling to stop, and the results you see will be worth the wait!
