I had such a great experience with Dr. Raquel that I decided to go back! This time I wanted to talk to her about my smile lines and about adding volume to my lips. Like every business, NuImage MedSpa is following all safety regulation rules and making sure all the staff is wearing a mask as well as taking everyones temperature upon arrival.I met with Dr Raquel and she recommended using Juvederm for both, my smile lines and my lips. She used the same for my eye bags a couple of months ago and they still look great! Juvederm is a filler that can last up to 6-9 months and helps to temporarily restore volume.
At first my lips were swollen but I wasn’t worried because Dr. Raquel said it was normal and part of the process. I used ice during the first couple of days and that helped a lot. The swelling lasted about a week and thankfully, Dr. Raquel was very gentle so I didn’t have any bruising.
It has been about 2 weeks now and I’m so happy with the way my lips turned out. I was very nervous at first (not going to lie!) but I’m so happy I went through with it. I wanted just a little bit of volume and to even out my lips and that’s exactly what Dr.Raquel did for me!
